Strawberry – Fragaria vesca – Alpine Strawberry
Grows 6 to 8 inches tall
Full sun to moderate shade
Bears small fruit throughout the summer into early fall
Alpine strawberries don’t produce runners but will grow in a clump over time. Mature plants should be divided every 2 to 3 years.
Can be planted in hanging baskets, containers or in the ground.
